What people use us for
Practical 3D printing for real problems
3D printing is most useful when it solves a specific problem — a part you can’t find, a fix that’s otherwise too expensive, or a component that simply doesn’t exist off the shelf. Here are the most common applications we work on.
Discontinued & Obsolete Plastic Parts
The manufacturer stopped making it. The dealership has no stock. Online searches draw a blank. If the part can be measured or photographed accurately, there is a good chance we can reproduce it — clips, levers, housings, bezels, covers, and more. Accurate measurements make a significant difference to fit quality.
Request a quoteAppliance & White Goods Replacement Parts
Washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, vacuums — plastic parts break, and replacements are often expensive or unavailable for older models. A 3D-printed replacement can restore function at a fraction of the cost of a new appliance. Common examples include door catch clips, tray rails, soap drawer guides, and filter housing covers.
Request a quoteVehicle Interior & Trim Parts
Interior plastic trim parts are particularly vulnerable — UV exposure, age, and wear cause clips, covers, and fixings to become brittle or crack. Exact OEM replacement parts for older vehicles are frequently discontinued. We can reproduce simple interior trim components, switch surrounds, storage inserts, and vent parts for non-safety-critical applications.
Workshop & Garage Fixes
Brackets, holders, jigs, and fixtures are among the most practical 3D printing applications. Custom tool holders for wall boards, drill press fences, cable management clips, parts trays, lathe stops, and workshop storage solutions. These are simple, functional parts that benefit from being custom-sized rather than off-the-shelf compromise solutions.
Request a quoteCamera, Rig & Photo Accessories
Custom lens caps, monitor mounts, rail adapters, lens hoods, battery door replacements, hotshoe covers, grip extensions, and rig accessories. Photographers and videographers regularly need parts that are either discontinued, prohibitively priced, or simply do not exist for their specific combination of gear. FDM printing is well suited to most of these.
Request a quoteElectronics Enclosures & Housings
Custom enclosures for Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, relay boards, and other electronics. Project boxes, panel mounting brackets, DIN rail clips, cable entry plates, and screen bezels. We can print from your design or produce a simple enclosure from your dimensions. These should be for low-voltage, non-certified, and non-hazardous applications.
Request a quoteHome Repairs & Household Fixes
Blind brackets, curtain rail end caps, furniture hardware, drawer stops, window handle parts, cupboard door catches, and similar household plastic components. A 3D-printed replacement can often be produced for considerably less than a service call or furniture replacement. If you have the broken part to measure from, the accuracy is usually very good.
Request a quoteCustom Brackets, Spacers & Adapters
When a standard off-the-shelf part doesn’t quite fit your application. Bespoke mounting brackets, offset plates, spacers between non-standard components, pipe and conduit clips for non-standard diameters, and adapter plates. These are often the jobs where a drawing and dimensions are enough to produce something that fits exactly.
Request a quoteHobby, Maker & Craft Projects
Scale model parts, RC vehicle components, cosplay and prop parts, miniature terrain, display stands, and project parts for maker and hobby applications. Whether you have a file ready or need a simple part designed to your dimensions, hobby and maker projects are some of the most varied and interesting jobs we handle.
Request a quotePrototypes for Small Businesses
Product designers and small businesses use 3D printing to validate designs before committing to tooling or production. A physical prototype lets you check dimensions, test fitment, and identify design issues quickly and cheaply. FDM is not injection moulding in terms of surface finish, but it is fast, affordable, and entirely adequate for early-stage design review.
Request a quoteGarden & Outdoor Equipment Parts
Garden machinery, greenhouses, irrigation fittings, outdoor furniture, and equipment housings often have plastic parts that break and are unavailable to purchase separately. ASA material is particularly well suited here, offering UV stability and weather resistance that makes it a practical choice for outdoor parts expected to last.
Request a quoteCustom Parts for Small Batch Production
Small businesses that need a handful of the same custom plastic component — product inserts, branded parts, custom clips, packaging inserts, display fixtures — can use our small-batch service to get consistent parts without the cost of tooling. Minimum order is one. Batches are priced and quoted per unit.
Request a quoteParts produced here are not certified and are not suitable for: safety-critical applications (braking, suspension, load-bearing structures), medical devices or implants, pressure vessels or high-pressure systems, electrical components requiring certification (BS/EN/UL), food contact applications requiring certification, or any regulated application requiring material traceability or testing. If in doubt, consult a qualified engineer before use.
